Privacy and cookies

TickerLandia has no accounts and no forms: you can use the whole site without telling us who you are. This page explains the little data that is processed when you visit it, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

The data controller is Giuseppe La Femina. For any privacy question or request, write to [email protected].

Data processed when you visit

Like any website, when you open a page your browser sends technical data: IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time. This data is processed by our hosting and network providers to deliver the pages, keep the site secure and prevent abuse, and is kept in their logs for a limited time. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure site (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use this data to identify you or to build profiles.

Providers

We rely on these providers, which process data on our behalf:

  • Railway Corporation (USA): hosting of the site.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): content delivery network and protection against attacks.

Transfers outside the EU

Both providers are based in the United States. Transfers take place under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and local storage

TickerLandia uses no cookies: the language is part of the page address, so there is nothing to remember.

The watchlist (the stocks you follow) is saved only in your browser, through local storage: it is never sent to us and you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data.

We currently use no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. If we introduce them, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

Content from other sites

Some images, such as company logos, are loaded from third-party servers, which therefore receive your IP address. Links to news take you to the publishers' sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability. To exercise these rights write to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, such as the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali or the authority of your country.

Changes

We will update this page whenever the way we process data changes.
