TickerLandia is a free site that shows listed companies from around the world in a clear way: price, results, dividends, valuation and company profile, in six languages.
Who is behind it
TickerLandia was created by Giuseppe, an electronic and telecommunications engineer who leads the software engineering team of a consulting company as Head of Engineering. He has always been passionate about finance, economics and investing.
Why we built it
Financial information is often communicated badly. A few large players present data on crowded, dated screens where the figures you need are hard to find and harder to understand.
TickerLandia starts from the opposite idea: the answer first, in plain language, with the date and source of every figure, and pages that work well on a phone. One question, one page.
How we work
TickerLandia is built by engineers, with the same care we put into software:
- Data comes from public and licensed sources (stock exchanges, company filings, the European Central Bank, data providers) and is updated automatically; the methodology page explains how each figure is calculated.
- Texts such as company descriptions and summary sentences are generated from the data and checked against it; they never contain investment opinions.
- We are independent: the site is free and may show advertising, but no company pays to appear or to be described in a certain way.
- TickerLandia is for information only and is not financial advice.
